special project "nature reserves and national parks of russia" for the odnoklassniki social network

The creation of concept, content and interactive map.
An interactive map "Nature reserves and national parks of Russia" is a project we created with the team of the Odnoklassniki social network. They created the design and landing, and we provided expertise in nature conservation, concept development and content creation.
MAIN TARGET AUDIENCE
Age: 34-65 years old.
Gender: men and women.
Area: Russia.
Users of the Odnoklassniki social network:
To show the nature of the Russian regions from Kamchatka to Kaliningrad. To provide the limitless opportunities for domestic tourism for Odnoklassniki users.
PROJECT GOAL
The landing aims to inspire users to learn something new, perhaps to decide to go on a trip and immediately book a place to stay.

The landing is the most accessible opportunity for Odnoklassniki users to get all the information about the protected areas involved in the project in one place.

A brief description of the area.
Pictures of nature reserves, national and natural parks became an obligatory part of cards.
To create the content, we made a card with features that are important for every traveler:
Content
The card template made it possible to quickly collect the necessary information from representatives of protected areas.
We processed the obtained data: adapted the texts and tried to achieve a unified stylistic solution for the entire project. Each territory has its own characteristics: in its approach to ecotourism issues, types of activities and presentation of information about them. Also during the content creation we had to take into account that the activities of all protected areas in Russia are strictly regulated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation. The letter of the law plays a crucial role in any project they are involved in.

We sent the collected materials to our colleagues at Odnoklassniki for the landing page layout.
Landing turned out to be bright, succinct and easy to navigate on. After adding the final edits and thankings from the representatives of the protected areas, all we had to do was waiting for the launch of the project.

View Map
A separate gift for Odnoklassniki users was a sticker pack.
For each area we chose the most striking representative of the plant world, so that users could send each other stickers with images of the most important, delicate, rare and unusual species of plants.
STICKER PACK
Designers at Odnoklassniki drew them and completed with simple wishes.
Sticker packs are a simple and affordable way to make users interested in nature, encourage them to get to know the plant depicted on a sticker, find out where it can be found, what else this part of Russia is famous for, and how they can visit it.
More than 100 publications about the interactive map project have appeared in federal and regional mass media.
MEDIA ABOUT THE PROJECT
News about the project was published on the largest media platforms in Russia.
Some large media from Samara, Orenburg, Tyumen, Belgorod and other Regions also wrote about the project.

Following the launch of the project and its media coverage, Odnoklassniki has been directly approached by representatives of other Russian protected areas who wanted to participate in the project.
FUTURE OF THE PROJECT
We look forward to continued cooperation and dream of putting on the interactive map as many protected areas as possible so that everyone in our country will know about them.
